Agatha Garavelas

Agatha has over 25 years’ experience working in research, biotech, and specialty laboratory organisations. Since completing her PhD, she has been employed in fine chemical manufacturing and drug discovery, synthesising small molecules and peptides for preclinical research including for one of Australia’s largest industry funded partnerships, Natural Product Drug Discovery with AstraZeneca. On returning to Melbourne, she moved further along the drug-discovery pipeline developing and validating LC-MS/MS assays for investigational drugs to support preclinical and clinical trials. In her spare time, Agatha practices yoga.
