Narani Smyth

After graduating from Melbourne University as a scientist, Narani developed a strong interest in Quality Assurance and immunology. With over 20 years experience in global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, Narani now leads the Quality Assurance team at Crux with broad range of skillsets. In her previous role at Cell Therapies Narani played a key role in the technology transfer of the CAR-T product Kymriah. She managed overall QA responsibility for the commercial delivery of batches and was the QA batch release signatory for batches for Australia. Prior to Cell Therapies she ran large manufacturing teams in Pfizer in addition to various Quality roles in IDT and CSL. When Narani isn’t working she loves cooking, dining out and spending time with her family and friends.
